Stagecoach South East… Placed into service here from today are the first 13 of a batch of 30 Scania/Enviro 400MMCs. The buses represent £2.6 million of investment and are fitted with air chill, WiFi and USB charging points. They are allocated to Thanet are are for the Breeze (8, 8A, 8X) services which link Broadstairs with Margate and Canterbury. Breeze branding is carried. A further two Tridents have arrived here from Stagecoach Manchester - 17659 and 17662. Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire… The beginning of the end for the remaining Volvo Olympians has arrived with 16667 (from Morecambe) now at West Cumbria for component recovery with 16642 also being stripped for spares at Morecambe. It is expected that two Tridents will be transferred from Stagecoach South West for component recovery whilst a re-allocation of MAN/Enviro 300s and ADL Enviro 300s is expected to take place in the next few weeks. Stagecoach East… The two open top Tridents in the Seasonal Reserve Fleet, 17078 and 17079, have returned to service at Cambridge, whilst the final open top Volvo Olympian in the fleet, 16541, has been sold. Stagecoach West Scotland… One of the Tridents due to be cascaded from Stagecoach South West to Stagecoach East Scotland has turned up here. 17707 is at Ardrossan where it has been put into service as a replacement for Scania/Enviro 400 15634 which is currently receiving repairs. Fully refurbished and repainted MAN/ALX300 22389 is now back in service here and allocated to Dumfries. Also at Dumfries is council-owned Optare Solo 47746, which carries SWSTrans green and purple livery. Optare Solo 47003 is now in the Reserve Fleet (at Kilmarnock) with 47359 transferring from Dumfries to Stranraer allowing 47434 to move from Stranraer to the Reserve Fleet and is parked up at Ayr.
