✤Stagecoach East Midlands Three new Seasider characters are being launched in Skegness today. The open top Tridents were transferred here from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire last year. Teddy (17013) and Sunny (17015) will be based at Skegness, whilst Sweetie (17016) will also see use at Grimsby. Scania/Enviro 400s back in service after repaint into corporate livery are 15507 at Lincoln and 15509 at Worksop. The allocation of 15509 to Worksop has seen Trident 18048 transferred to the Reserve Fleet there. Now withdrawn and being used for parts recovery is Lincoln-based MAN/ALX300 training bus 22491.
✤Stagecoach South West
Dart SLFs 35154 and 35243/44 are now at Exeter whilst 34864/67/68/69 are at Torquay. Reserve Fleet Optare Solos back in service are 47088 at Plymouth and 47099 at Torquay. Also now at Torquay are Trident 18137 and Open Top Tridents 18186 along with 18303/04/05/06/07. Reserve Fleet Optare Solo 47087 is now for disposal whilst 47586/87 are being prepared for transfer to Stagecoach South ✤Stagecoach South East The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibuses 44001-30 will be withdrawn from service here at the beginning of June as larger vehicles take over the routes currently operated. ✤Stagecoach East More vehicles on loan to, and in passenger service at, Bedford are Dart SLF 34536 from Fenstanton and Dart SLF training vehicle 34422 from Cambridge. New Volvo B8RLE busway saloons 21311/12 are now in service from Fenstanton. Following its recent repaint into corporate livery, East Lancs-bodied Trident 18278 has returned to King’s Lynn and has been out on the 505 Spalding-King’s Lynn service. ✤Stagecoach London The nine open top/part open top Tridents for the Megasightseeing operation, 18467/71/73/74/75/77/82/96/97 are allocated to Bow. Vehicles sold or scrapped are Tridents 17788, 17988/93/98, 18216, 18452/76/80.
