The arrival of MAN/Enviro 300 22875 at Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire’s Morecambe depot has seen the withdrawal from service of MAN/ALX300 22814. Three Optare Solos are expected to come to this fleet from Stagecoach Manchester to provide additional maintenance cover following the recent flooding in the area. Staff are still working around the clock to keep buses on the road and their efforts are noted and thanked. There have been some changes top the vehicle movements at Stagecoach East Midlands that we reported yesterday. Tridents 17046 and 18045 are in the Reserve Fleet at Lincoln, whilst 18293 remains delicenced undergoing repairs at Lincoln. Dart SLF 34687 remain in the main fleet at Worksop. We have established that Stagecoach South East is still expecting to receive a further 14 Tridents from Stagecoach Manchester and our guess is that it is 17616/18/20/28/29/31-39 that will be transferred, 17616/18/20 were new in 1999 with the remaining vehicles dating from 2000. Also heading to Stagecoach South East are four Dart SLFs from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire with 34620, 34789-91 confirmed as the vehicles that will transfer. There is also a planned departure from the Stagecoach South East fleet with the sole Optare Solo SR, Dover’s 47874 due to be swapped with Stagecoach South for a Dart SLF.
