The entry of new ‘Stagecoach Gold’ Scania/Enviro 400s at Stagecoach South West (15250 Torquay and 15251-60 at Exmouth) has resulted in a cascade of vehicles that has seen newer Tridents allocated to Plymouth. Standard Scania/Enviro 400s 15660-69 have moved from Exmouth to Torquay which has seen tridents 17057/58 and 18067-72 move to Plymouth with 18073 transferring to Exeter. In turn this has seen 17289/90/94/97/99, 17329/30 and 17670 moving into the Reserve Fleet. In other changes Chard’s Dart SLF 34729 is now in the reserve fleet, being replaced by 34725 from Exeter, which in turn has been replaced by Enviro 200 37142 from Exmouth. Optare Solo 47535 is now in the Reserve Fleet (from Torquay) and Tridents 17702 (Torquay) and 17703 (Exeter) are now out of service for conversion to Open Top vehicles. Finally, it is understood that Dart SLFs 33201/02, 34068/77/92/95 and Mercedes 709D 40553 have been sold.
