Martin Townsend has advised that Stagecoach Oxfordshire transferred Optare Solo SE 47834 from Banbury to Oxford (not Witney as we had predicted) last weekend. Moving the other way was Optare Solo 47454. The remaining three Solo SRs 47831-33 are due to move to Witney and transfers are expected to take place this week. Route 500 branding has been removed from Enviro 200 36450.
News from Stagecoach East Scotland is the allocation of Reserve Fleet Volvo Olympian 16228 to Dundee to cover for Volvo B7TL 16932 which is undergoing refurbishment. Sister 16931 is back in use at Dundee following completion of refurbishment work. Dart SLF 33308 has transferred from Aberhill to the Reserve Fleet following completion of repairs on 35238. Trident 17444 has transferred from Welllwood to Aberhill and 18009 is now at Dundee having been transferred from St Andrews. 18123 has been withdrawn for disposal following fire damage. MAN/ALX300s 22368/72 are now allocated to Dundee. Heritage Fleet Leyland TD5 19977 is no longer part of the fleet following completion of the loan period.
Our friends at East Yorkshire Motor Services have advised that Dart SLFs 480 and 470 are being re-registered W152/53RCU. The W80EYM plate is being transferred to Volvo B9TL 720, whilst W70EYM will transfer to an ancillary vehicle. Now delivered in an indigo and primrose livery is MCV-bodied Volvo B8RLE 387 (BT65JGY).
