The first two new Cambridgeshire Busway Volvo B8RLEs with Stagecoach East to enter service, 21303 and 21306, did so today.
The first details of vehicles being transferred on loan to Stagecoach East Scotland as part of the Forth Road Bridge closure contingency plan have emerged as:
From Stagecoach South East: Scania/Enviro 400s 15498, 15500
From Stagecoach Yorkshire: ADL Enviro 300s 27187/88 and 27206
From Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire: Volvo Olympian 16640; MAN/ALX300 22135; Volvo B10M 20905/44/45; Trident 17246 and Optare Solos 47022, 47754. It is expected a further Volvo Olympian will join these vehicles.
News from Stagecoach West is that Trident 18377 has been rejected by Stagecoach South and has returned north for repairs before being accepted into the Stagecoach South fleet. A further Dart SLF received by Stagecoach West from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire is 34785.

Following the entry into service at Stagecoach East's Fenstanton depot earlier today of the two Volvo B8RLEs detailed above, two of the earlier Volvo B7BLEs, 21227 and 21228 have been transferred to Cambridge and pressed into service from Ely outstation. A further two are expected to transfer to Ely tomorrow ahead of the transfer on loan of four MAN/ALX300s to Stagecoach East Scotland on loan - exact details of fleet numbers awaited.
A further Magicbus repaint at Stagecoach Manchester is Trident 17283.
