East Yorkshire Motor Services has confirmed that the former ADL Demonstrator ADL E40D/ADL Enviro 400MMC due here as fleet number 795 is registered YY64GWX. It is to H43/30F layout.
There have been some changes to the vehicles that have gone on loan to Stagecoach East Scotland for Forth Road Bridge Contingency operations. Given the flooding issues in Carlisle, it is now unlikely that any vehicles will be sent from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire. Confirmed arrivals in Scotland, which are to be based at a re-opened Cowdenbeath depot are Enviro 400s 19151/644/675 from Stagecoach North East; Scania/Enviro 400s 15446/54 from Stagecoach Midlands and Enviro 300s 27187/88/206 from Stagecoach Yorkshire.
Stagecoach East has put new Volvo B8RLEs 21301/303/304/306 into service on Busway duties from Fenstanton depot, which has seen Volvo B7RLEs 21221/25/27/28 transferred to Cambridge, with several already at work from Ely Outstation.
Stagecoach Yorkshire has confirmed that it has received Enviro 400s19032/33/35/36/42 from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire. 19032/33/35/36 are in service from Ecclesfield with 19042 at Holbrook.
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire’s Carlisle depot suffered flooding yesterday evening. Staff have worked around the clock and parked vehicles in Carlisle City Centre to protect them from the flooding. In atrocious circumstances staff were able to keep the vehicles away from the flood water and this morning are doing their hardest to restore services in flood hit areas as roads are re-opened.
