East Yorkshire Motor Services has confirmed that former Whittles Volvo B9R coach 88 (now numbered 91 in the EYMS fleet) has entered service on National Express duties it has displaced Volvo B12B 68 which is on loan to the Hull Coaching Unit. Also back at Hull are ex Whittles Volvo B9Rs 85/87/89, which are renumbered 92, 94 and 95 and are currently delicenced. ADL Enviro 400MMC 795 has received a repaint into an extremely smart metallic red and gold livery with branding for the X46 service and is allocated to Hull. Volvo B7RLE 338 has transferred from Hull to Pocklington in exchange for Volvo B10BLE 312.
The company has produced an enthusiasts newsletter. Currently there are no plans to do this on a regular basis, but the company says it will monitor reaction. EYMS is to be congratulated on its pro-enthusiast stance with extensive information posted on its website and through its @eymsenthusiasts Twitter feed. It can be downloaded below.
