The former Stagecoach East (Long Sutton) vehicles continue to attract a considerable amount of interest in this fleet, with all depots - except Lincoln and of course Long Sutton - currently having examples on their allocation.
Dylan Jones has been out and about to photograph these vehicles and we are pleased to present a selection of his images. Dylan caught up with Skegness-allocated Trident 18416 in Horncastle whilst Worksop -allocated Enviro 400 19047 was pictured in Retford. Trident 18418 is allocated to Gainsborough and was pictured in the town’s bus station amongst several Plaxton President-bodied Tridents. Trident 18338 is one of four former Long Sutton Tridents now allocated to Hull. The others are 18335, 18344 and 18347. Although we don’t have a photo of it we understand that former Long Sutton Enviro 400 19017, which is now at Grimsby, has recently benefitted from a repaint.
Two other recently repainted Tridents in this fleet and photographed by Dylan are Lincoln-allocated ALX400-bodied 18122 and Plaxton President-bodied 18047. Both of these are devoid of the normal matt-black area below the front windscreen.
Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire
