January 1st 2020: Fleet Ramblings

1/1/2020

Stagecoach East
New BYD/Enviro 400City electric double decks for this fleet, 14033/34 (LF69UXN/UXO) have been reported as being stored at Stagecoach Yorkshire’s Chesterfield depot. They are in the all over pale green colour scheme.
Now in the UK are the Volvo B8RLE/MCV eVora saloons for Cambridgeshire Busway work. We have not had any reports that any have been delivered to Fenstanton depot.
In the run up to Christmas 2019 we understand that Dart SLF 34537 was on loan from Fenstanton to Bedford whilst for a few days Bedford-allocated ex-Norfolk Green Enviro 400 10053 was operating from Cambridge.
We have seen reports to suggest that Scania/Enviro 400 15463 has lost its ‘Greener Smarter Travel’ livery and is now in corporate colours.
Further Tridents transferred to Stagecoach West are 18415 and 18421, whilst 18413, which had been on loan to Stagecoach Manchester and allocated to Stockport was transferred directly from there to Stagecoach West.

Stagecoach South
Received here from Stagecoach West are Optare Solos 47032/36/46. They have been swapped for Dart SLFs 35210/11/12.

Stagecoach East Midlands
Long Sutton Scania/Enviro 400 15811 has was out of service for most of December for maintenance and we believe, but not confirmed, that for a short time Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 16909 may have been used from Long Sutton depot. On loan to Long Sutton from Skegness at the end of December were Trident 18413 and Volvo B7RLE 21213.
A further ex-Stagecoach Oxfordshire Scania/Enviro 400 to enter service at Long Sutton shortly before Christmas 2019 and following repaint into Interconnect colours is 15615, which allowed Enviro 400 19686 to return to Hull.

Stagecoach Midlands
It is understood that Enviro 200s 37109 and 37111 have been operating from Nuneaton depot. They were allocated to Northampton.
Delicenced fleet Tridents back in the Reserve Fleet during December 2019 were 18103/06/28 at Northampton and 18323 at Leamington.

Stagecoach Oxfordshire
Our friends at the Oxford & Chiltern Bus Page have reported the arrival at Oxford of former Stagecoach London Trident 18484 which is here for driver training use.
The OCBP also reports that Scania/Enviro 400s 15964/65 are out of service here and are expected to leave the fleet being cascaded within Stagecoach UK Bus. Both are fitted with seat belts.
We understand that Enviro 10067, which is allocated to Banbury, has been in use from Oxford during the college holiday period.

Stagecoach South West
A further Dart SLF on loan to Exeter depot for rail replacement work during December 2019 was 34689.

Stagecoach West
All of the ADL Enviro 200MMCs due here, 37616-29, are now in service at Cheltenham.
An additional vehicle taken over with the purchased of South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach is L888SGB M862TYC, a Volvo B10M with Van Hool Alize bodywork and now numbered 52693 in the Stagecoach fleet.

Stagecoach Manchester
ADL Enviro 400City/BYD electric 14002 (LF69UXS) has received branding extolling its environmental credentials on the pale green base colour. Standard Stagecoach logos have also been fitted.

Stagecoach East Scotland
We understand that Trident 18351 at Aberhill has been repainted into the E400MMC-style of livery, the first Trident to receive this livery scheme.

Go North EastRepaints in the week ending December 222019 included Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5274 (NK56 KKL) into the 2019 fleet livery.
Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6164 (YN54 AOP) is now in service at Chester-le-Street, which has displaced Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 6913 (LX06 EBP) to Consett, and hence Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 6931 (LX54 GZV) to Riverside.
Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro 5487 (HW07 CXY) and Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 6905 - 6909 (LX06 EBF/EBG/EBJ/EBK/EBL) have transferred from Deptford to Washington following the completion of the roof works and installation at Washington.
