East Yorkshire Motor Services has advised that a large number of fleet changes took place in December 2015 and at the beginning of January 2016. These changes have seen a reduction of Dart SLFs and MANs in the operational fleet with Dart SLFs 302/03/04/06/07 and 470/76 along with MANs 246 and 326-30 now delicenced. Also delicenced are Volvo B7TLs 646 and 647. Details of vehicle transfers between depots are:
Volvo Merit: 244 Hornsea to Beverley and 245 Hornsea to Hull
Enviro 300: 271 and 272 from Scarborough to Hornsea
Volvo B10BLE: 314 (ex Whittle fleet) from Delicenced to Hull
Enviro 200: 350 Hull-Bridlington, 379 Hull to Scarborough, 389/90 and 505 Delicenced to Scarborough
Volvo B7RLE: 367 and 368 Elloughton to Hull
Volvo B8RLE: 386 and 387 new to Elloughton
Volvo B7TL: 662 Hull to Bridlington and 682 Withernsea to Hull
Volvo B9TL: 736 Withernsea to Hull
Volvo B5TL: 796 and 797 New to Withernsea
News from Stagecoach East Scotland is that Volvo B7TL 16932 from Blairgowrie is latest of its type to undergo refurbishment, whilst Optare Solo 47004 has returned to service at Artbroath after refurbishment. MAN/ALX300 22277 is withdrawn from Dundee for disposal, whilst similar 22349 is transferred from the Reserve Fleet to Perth and 22350 from the Reserve Fleet to Dundee. Scania N270 24009 is back in the operational fleet at Dunfermline. Volvo B10M coach 52666 at Perth is now for disposal, having been replaced by Volvo B12M 53028. Volvo B7Rs 53278/79/84 and B12B 54049 are for transfer to Stagecoach Highlands with similar B12Bs 54074/75 now at Glenrothes. Finally Volvo B13R 54123 has returned to the Joint Venture fleet at Dundee after repairs.
