✤Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire MAN/ALX300 training vehicle 22141 has now returned to Carlisle following two months on loan to Stagecoach East where it was used at both Cambridge and Peterborough. The entry into service at Morecambe of the 18 new ADL Enviro 400MMCs (11139-56) has displaced a similar number of MAN/Enviro 300s, Tridents and Dart SLFs. We understand that Enviro 400 19145 has also been displaced and will be transferred to Carlisle whilst MAN/Enviro 300s 22880/83/85 have moved to Kendal on temporary loan. ADL Enviro 400MMC 11157 is in service from Carlisle depot and is being used on the 685 Carlisle-Newcastle service.
✤Stagecoach East Midlands
The company has confirmed that it plans to put 31 new euro 6 buses into service at its Hull depot later this year, representing £5.7 million worth of investment. The vehicles will comprise 10 ADL Enviro 400MMCs and 21 ADL Enviro 200MMCs. The Enviro 400MMCs are expected to oust the 177xx series of ALX400-bodied Tridents whilst the Enviro 200MMCs will displace MAN/ALX300s and Dart SLFs which suggests that they may be of the longer 11.8 metre examples. ✤Stagecoach East The ATVBF reports that Bedford-allocated Enviro 200 36044 is another of the type operating from Cambridge, whilst Cambridge-allocated Dart SLF 34422 was reported in use in service last Saturday – a very rare use of a Stagecoach Dart on Citi services operated from Cambridge depot. They do appear occasionally on Fenstanton-worked Citi 5 services. ✤Konnectbus The Norfolk and Suffolk-based operator has updated its fleet list on its website and a copy can be downloaded below. ![]()
✤East Yorkshire Motor Services
Volvo B7TL 668 has now been sold, whilst Volvo B9BTL 761 has returned from the Go North East paint shop following painting red and the application of Contactless Travel branding. ✤Stagecoach South Enviro 400 19063 at Portsmouth, which has cherished registration 404DCD, now carries Cancer Research UK promotional livery and branding.
