The three Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President open-tops - 3997, 3998 and 3999 - have all now been formally allocated to Percy Main. 3997 and 3998 are to be allocated to the Toon Tour service and 3999 remains as a spare vehicle for the Toon Tour service and is also available for Private Hire and Special Events.
Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 5201 has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Deptford, in a float/reserve capacity, to assist with extra vehicle requirements associated with Special Events.
Repaints in the week ending July 7th included Optare Solo M880/Optare 699 into ‘Little Coasters’ livery.
A number of float/reserve Wright Solar bodied Scania L94UB single-decks have been withdrawn: 4933 from Chester-le-Street, along with 4940 and 4966 from Riverside. All are planned to be stripped for spare parts and sold for scrap.
