July 21st 2019 @ 13:35: Could Stagecoach transfer Tridents to Manchester?; Stagecoach Cumbria to exchange MAN/Enviro 300s with Stagecoach East Midlands and Air Tattoo event loan vehicles at Stagecoach West

Stagecoach Manchester
Look out for a number of Tridents arriving here. We understand there are plans for a Strategic Reserve Fleet. Expected are 18411-15 from Stagecoach East at Cambridge and a number from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire which 18361 expected to be one of those transferred.
The Omnibus Society North Western and Yorkshire Branch reports that Enviro 400s 19182/87/88 have lost their Magicbus livery on repaint but 19191 and 19221 have had repaints in Magicbus livery. Enviro 400 19199 is also reported as transferring from Wigan to Hyde Road.
 
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
Look out for two MAN/Enviro 300s joining this fleet. 22782/89 are currently with Stagecoach East Midlands at Hull and are due to be exchanged with two MAN/Enviro 300s from this fleet with 22764 and 22878 expected to be the vehicles transferred. We understand that 22782/89 have seat belt fittings so will meet the requirement for use on contract services here.
Also due here imminently are Optare Versas 25213/17 from Stagecoach West. They will be exchanged for two Dart SLFs with 34716/18, although not confirmed, expected be the vehicles leaving the Cumbria fleet.
 
Stagecoach Midlands
The company reports that Dart SLFs 34817 and 35174 from the Reserve Fleet at Northampton have been transferred to Stagecoach West. It is unknown at present if these are regarded by Stagecoach West as permanent transfers or merely loans as they arrived a few days before the Royal International Air Tattoo for which Stagecoach West normally has vehicles on loan.
Scania/Enviro 400 15446 is currently out of service at Northampton and delicenced for repairs whilst previously delicenced Trident 18153 is now for disposal here.
 
Stagecoach West
Dave Russell & Deric Pemberton report that vehicles on loan for this weekend’s Royal International Air Tattoo have been Enviro 400MMCs 10421/22/80/81, 10590, 10619/24 and 10860 from Stagecoach Manchester; Enviro 400MMCs 10728/29/30/31 from Stagecoach Midlands along with Enviro 400MMCs 10767 and 10894 along with Scania/Enviro 400 15985 from Stagecoach South. The loan buses have supplemented Stagecoach West’s own fleet on Air Tattoo shuttle services.
From September 1st Stagecoach West will take over the operation of the X5 Weston-Super-Mare to Cribbs Causeway/Bristol Parkway station and the Severn Express Bristol-Chepstow/Newport services from First West of England. No vehicles are involved.
 
Stagecoach Megabus/Joint Venture Operations
Megabus
Volvo B11R 54265 from the Stagecoach Midlands fleet at Rugby has been delicenced for repairs and as a result SG43 (54207) from the South Gloucester Bus & Coach fleet is currently on loan at Rugby.

East Yorkshire
The company has delicenced 33 buses for the school holiday with the majority being allocated to Hull. Sidelined for the summer are 29 Volvo B7TLs and four Volvo B7RLEs.

Volvo B9TL 792 is back here following refurbishment at Bus & Coach World with 783 now being away for attention. It is understood that 792 carries the basic East Yorkshire livery without the ‘Coaster’ branding.
