Stagecoach East…
The company is now showing Dart SLFs 34639/40 and 34700 as being part of the Reserve Fleet, which suggests that the planned transfer to Stagecoach Manchester has been cancelled.
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire…
Volvo Olympian 16119 is again on loan at West Cumbria, whilst open top Volvo Olympian 16534 has returned to Carlisle.
Stagecoach East Midlands…
We understand that the remaining 13 Volvo B7RLEs due to transfer from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire to this fleet for use at Grimsby are likely to be current Park & Ride examples 21263-21275.

Stagecoach Disposals explained…
Where we report the withdrawal of Stagecoach vehicles for disposal it does not mean that the vehicle is already out of service. Whilst some will already have been withdrawn, others have been earmarked for withdrawal and disposal and may be seen to continue in use until the MOT or Road Tax expires, or until the next engineering inspection date.

Stagecoach Reserve Fleet explained…
There is a misconception that the transfer of a vehicle into the Stagecoach Reserve Fleet means that they are no longer in service. This is not the case and many Reserve Fleet buses remain in regular use. There are, however, several categories of Reserve Fleet vehicles.
Strategic Reserve comprises vehicles that are generally out of use, providing the individual company with vehicles that can be called back into service if required for their own use or to allow cover to be provided during emergency situations at other companies. This category is also used by some companies to identify vehicles that are delicenced for long-term repairs.
Operational Reserve this is the category in which most Reserve Fleet vehicles are allocated. Most remain available for service and see regular use. They are generally additional vehicles allocated to depots which are over and above the formal depot allocation. It is wrong to assume that Reserve Fleet vehicles are parked up as they give depots operational flexibility and like the Strategic Reserve vehicles may be called on at short notice to allow cover to be provided at other depots
Seasonal Reserve this is the category used for those vehicles which are used to provide the seasonal (generally summer period) increase in vehicle requirement. Out of season most of these vehicles will be parked up and stored, but during the peak summer period most will be formally allocated to depots but some will remain in the Seasonal Reserve fleet and the Operational Reserve explanation above applies.
