Stagecoach East Midlands
The last of the former Stagecoach Oxfordshire Scania/Enviro 400s to enter service at Long Sutton is 15616, which has allowed the last of the loaned Enviro 400s, 19689, to return to Hull. Former Stagecoach North East Enviro 400s 19197, 19203 and 19206 have been pressed into service at Hull whilst awaiting repaint into InterConnect livery and allocation to Skegness, They are providing cover for Enviro 400MMCs 11192/93/94/95 which are currently on loan to Stagecoach West . Currently just 19196 and 19210 from the vehicles transferred here from Stagecoach North East have been painted into InterConnect livery and allocated to Skegness. As they enter service at Skegness they will allow the withdrawal of the East Lancs ‘Vyking’-bodied Volvo B7TLs. We also understand that the similar vehicles at Scunthorpe are also due to be replaced this year. Stagecoach Manchester Widescale re-allocation of vehicles here is expected following the entry into service of the BYD/Enviro 400City electric vehicles. We understand this will include the transfer of Enviro 400 Hybrids onto Magicbus duties and the release of a number of Enviro 400s for cascade within Stagecoach UK Bus. The Omnibus Society North West and Yorkshire Branch reports that Enviro 200s 36421 and 36423 are further examples of the type to transfer from here to Stagecoach East Scotland at Dunfermline, joining 36418 and 36423 which are both now confirmed as being allocated to Dunfermline. Stagecoach South We understand that Tridents 18502/10 have been treated to full repaints in the ‘old’ livery, whilst similar 18185 from Guildford has been reported operating from Aldershot. Reserve Fleet Tridents 17735/36 have been reported as now being in the main fleet at Guildford. Stagecoach North Scotland [Bluebird] Enviro 300 Hybrid 29003 is an early recipient of the new ‘Stagecoach Local’ livery here.
