Look out over the coming months for more Stagecoach Manchester Tridents transferring to Stagecoach South and Stagecoach South East. It is also understood that more ex London Tridents will be allocated to Stagecoach Midlands and converted to Open Top for used on Stratford upon Avon City Sightseeing duties.
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire has now completed work to convert Plaxton President-bodied Dennis Trident 17692 to open top. The vehicle was damaged in collision with a low bridge in Bedford last year when in use with Stagecoach East. We don’t normally include photographs on the Fleet Ramblings page but have made an exception. We are also including a photo of former Norfolk Green Optare Solo 47881, which is now also with Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire and is in the final stages of conversion to an information/publicity vehicle.
