May 29th 2019 @ 19:20: Stagecoach Megabus/Joint Venture round-up and Stagecoach East adds three more Dart SLFs to Peterborough allocation

Megabus/Joint Venture Operations
Now part of the Joint Venture fleet at Inverness (Stagecoach North Scotland) are Volvo B9Rs 53623 and 53624, whilst joining the Joint Venture fleet at Perth (Stagecoach East Scotland) are Volvo B13Bs 54127/28/29 (from the Joint Venture fleet at Stagecoach West Scotland’s Cumbernauld depot) along with Volvo B13R 54101 from the Rennies Fleet.
Caetano Levantes SG09 and SG17 have been withdrawn from service with South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach (SGBC) whilst now with SGBC is Volvo B11R 54211 from the Megabus fleet at Stagecoach South Wales’ Cwmbran depot. It has been allocated fleet number SG50.
We understand that once in service with SGBC, Van Hool Sleeper coaches 50301/02/03/04/06 will carry fleet numbers SG 45/46/47/48/49).
 
Stagecoach East
Dart SLFs 34421 and 34422 are no longer regarded as part of the training fleet here and are now allocated to Peterborough, whilst the transfer of 34424 from Bedford to Peterborough is now confirmed. Also recorded by the company as transferred from Bedford to Peterborough is Volvo B10M training coach 52437.
The ten ex-Stagecoach London Scania Omnicity vehicles are now confirmed as being at ADL Anston for centre door removal and eFan modifications.
Back at Fenstanton from ADL Anston after repairs is ADL Enviro 400MMC 15294. Now sold to Ensign Bus are Dart SLF 35104 and Optare Solo 47353, whilst the remains of accident/fire-damaged Volvo B8RLE 21302 are now for disposal/scrap.
Five of the six open top Tridents recently sold to Ensign Bus are now with First in Scotland for new open top services in Edinburgh. Their First fleet numbers will be:

32790 - TSU640
32792 - ACZ7492
32793 - ACZ7493
32794 - ACZ7494
 
Stagecoach South
Reserve Fleet Trident 17740 is now back in the main operational fleet at Portsmouth.
 
Go North East
The Go North East website reports that buses repainted last week included Optare Solo SR M890/Optare 692 (YJ13 HNX) into a two-tone blue base livery for “Little Coasters” – it is the first example to have the vinyls added too. Other repaints included Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid 5420 (NK16 BYA) and Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5266 (NK56 KKB) into the 2019 fleet livery.
A number of vehicles which were unable to transfer to their new depot on Sunday 19th May were instead transferred during last week. Summarised as follows:
638 - Deptford to Riverside
4978 4980 4981 - Withdrawn from service at Percy Main
5206 - Reinstated at Percy Main
8301 - Chester-le-Street to Riverside

East Yorkshire
Mercedes 517CDi 21 has been sold.
