News reaches us that Stagecoach East has transferred MAN/ALX300 22335 from Peterborough to Stagecoach Manchester, where it has been put into service at Middleton. It appears to have been swapped for ADL Trident/Enviro 400 19082, which had been operating from Wigan.
Stagecoach West has scrapped Trident 18388, which caught fire earlier this year on its way to Stagecoach South. We have now had confirmation that 18377 has transferred to Stagecoach South and 18082 remains with Stagecoach West. Former Reserve Fleet Dart SLFs 33960/61/66/73 are now for disposal.
At Stagecoach Manchester Volvo B7TL 16971 is back in service at Middleton, whilst MAN/ALX300 22241 is back in service at Middleton and 22808 at Stockport. Similar 22231 from Stockport is now for disposal. Dart SLFs 33866/71 are back in service at Ashton and Optare Solo 47002 has returned to service at Wigan.
At Stagecoach South East MAN/ALX300 22057 is back in service at Thanet and 22009 which was awaiting disposal is now back in the Reserve Fleet at Eastbourne. Volvo B10M 20832 has returned to service at Dover, replacing 20654 which now awaits disposal. Also for disposal is 20638 from Thanet. Reported as sold are 20011, 20638/47/54/75/76, 20955/56, 22005, 22107/87.
At Stagecoach Yorkshire Scania/E400 15711 is now away for modifications at GKN Telford, which MAN/ALX300s 22083/84/85/88 are all now for conversion to driver training vehicles, whilst similar 22086 moves from Rawmarsh to Barnsley. Optare Excels 35000/-4/6 have been sold to PVS. Optare Solo 47465 has moved from Barnsley to Ecclesfield allowing 47756 to be taken out of service for disposal. MAN 39625 was not taken out of service last month and remains operational at Barnsley.
