Stagecoach East Midlands plans to 'launch' its new Enviro 200 saloons in Grimsby this coming Thursday (27th |November) between 2pm and 7pm at the Riverside Exchange. Some of the new buses are already in service with 37188/89/93-200 having already been reported as in service. As a result Sam Boothby reports former Grimsby Darts 35140/41/43/44/45 have been seen operating from Scunthorpe depot. Another vehicle to lose InterConnect livery for corporate style is 16907.
The 18 new Plaxton Elite coaches for Stagecoach East for use on the X5 Cambridge-Oxford service (54301-18) are due for delivery next month. They will be allocated to Bedford depot.
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire is now unlikely to take Optare Solo 47883 when it is taken out of service soon by Norfolk Green.
A ticket machine upgrade took place at Norfolk Green last weekend, with the company now using the standard Stagecoach ERG machines.
Tower Transit has started to apply fleet numbers to the vehicles at its newly-acquired Whippet Coaches.
