We are hearing that at least two Optare Solos from the Stagecoach Midlands Reserve Fleet have transferred to Stagecoach West - 47032 and 47037 are the vehicles.
The annual Hull Fair has seen Stagecoach East Midlands increase the allocation at Hull depot by 13 with Tridents 17063, 17686-88, 18293; MAN/ALX300s 22278, 22306/07, 22490; Dart SPDs 33831/33/35/36 and Dart SLF 35130 added to the allocation. Some of these vehicles had been in the Reserve Fleet at Hull and as such has already been in regular use from the depot. Vehicles sold are the entire remaining Optare Excel fleet 35007/08/10/11/14/15 and three of the Tridents acquired from Stagecoach London for component recovery - 17559/72/74. Dart SLF 34455 has been transferred from the Reserve Fleet at Mansfield to the service fleet at Gainsborough, whilst Trident 18044 is relicensed and now allocated to Lincoln where it has replaced 18288 which is now for disposal following MOT expiry. Two further Dart SPDs for disposal are 33834 and 33847 and we understand that Gainsborough-allocated Volvo Olympian 16462 is a further example to have been MOTd for a further year.
