Hot on the heels of the news that Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire is to repair two Volvo Olympians (16640 and 16642) comes the news that the company has recently repainted 16651 which is part of the Reserve Fleet at Carlisle. In another Volvo Olympian highlight Stagecoach East Midlands Gainsborough-allocated 16469 was not withdrawn on its MOT expiry but has been put through MOT and is also reported as having been repainted.
Back at Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire new ‘Stagecoach Gold’ vehicles 15221-24 and 28747/48 have branding for the X4/X5 services, whilst 15225 carries generic ‘Stagecoach Gold’ branding.
