News reaches us that three Optare Solos (47886/87/88) and an Optare Spectra (13981) have been taken out of front line service and placed into the Reserve Fleet at King’s Lynn by Stagecoach East. Optare Tempo 25130 remains out of service for refurbishment along with Optare Solo 47912.
Stagecoach East Midlands will introduce its Simplibus network in Hull on Sunday 6th September 2015. As a result look out for Tridents 17063 and 17686-88 along with MAN/ALX300s 22278, 22307 and Dart SLF 35150 being taken out of service and allocated to the Head Office Reserve Fleet. Also due to be transferred into the Reserve Fleet at Hull is MAN/Enviro 300 22576. As the key holiday season draws to a close at Skegness, Reserve Fleet Tridents 17680/85 are transferred to the operational fleet at Lincoln. Reserve Fleet MAN/ALX300 22309 at Hull is now awaiting disposal.
Stagecoach Bluebird has received Volvo Olympian from Aviemore and allocated it to Insch. However, similar 16112/90 at Insch are now for disposal. Optare Solos 47180/81 have transferred to Stagecoach Highlands and are allocated to Orkney. They were transferred in exchange for 22707/09.
Stagecoach Highlands has put Volvo B10M 52659 into service at Fort William. Optare Solos 47755/58 have been sold and Volvo Olympian 16393 from the seasonal fleet is now regarded as for scrap. Other allocation changes have seen 27052 allocated to Aviemore and 22779/88 to Stonehaven.

Four of the recently transferred ADL Enviro 400s from Stagecoach Yorkshire to Stagecoach South East (19654/56/62/68) are now in service at Eastbourne with 19655 expected to enter service imminently. ADL Enviro 300s 27517/18/19/21/22 have all been reported as being in service at Eastbourne, which suggests that 27575/77/78/79/80/82 may soon be prepared for transfer elsewhere within the company.
Stagecoach East has confirmed that a number of Cambridge-based Tridents, which will be displaced from Ely/Newmarket services when the cascaded ex-Busway Scania/Enviro 400s enter service, will temporarily be based at the former Norfolk Green operation at King’s Lynn. It is expected they will allow a number of Optare Spectras to be withdrawn.
