September 17th 2019 @ 15:30: Trident allocations at Stagecoach Manchester and full fleet allocations for Stagecoach West

17/9/2019

Stagecoach UK Bus
Stagecoach South

Here from Stagecoach London and for component recovery are Tridents 17858 and 18484.
Optare Solo 47739 is no longer recorded by the company suggesting it has been sold.
Several vehicles have now been authorised for disposal and include Tridents 18065, 18386 and 18525, the latter having suffered fire damage. Also authorised for disposal here are Dart SLFs 34415, 34634 and 34844 along with Optare Solos 47541 and 47625.
Dart SLF 34631 which had been in use as a paintshop float vehicle at Portsmouth is now allocated to Winchester.
Dart SLF 34608 has transferred from Portsmouth to the Reserve Fleet at Aldershot. Also now in the Reserve Fleet at Aldershot is Optare Solo 47740.
Trident 18081 has transferred from the Reserve Fleet at Chichester to Basingstoke as a replacement for now withdrawn 18525. Reserve Fleet vehicles returned to main fleet allocations are Trident 18118 at Winchester and Dart SLF 34633 at Portsmouth.

Stagecoach Yorkshire
The new Enviro 200MMCs here, 37602-15, started to enter service yesterday with 37602 being reported in use.

Stagecoach Manchester
It has been a busy few weeks with all of the recently transferred Enviro 400s and Tridents, with the exception of 18325 now allocated to depots. A summary of these allocations is:
Wigan: 18372, 19018/40
Ashton: 18411/12, 19054/61
Middleton: 19031/70
Sharston: 18360/85, 18415, 19038/50/52
Stockport: 18326/57/58/61/65, 18413/14/40/41/42
Enviro 400s 19178/79 have been allocated to the Magicbus fleet at Hyde Road following their return from a period on loan with Stagecoach Yorkshire. It is also understood that 19270 has also joined the Magicbus fleet at Hyde Road as has 19166.
Other fleet changes have seen Enviro 400s 19116/68/82/92 and 19355/62/63/64/98 together with Irisbus 29828, Optare Versa Hybrid 25327 and Enviro 200s 36428/84/85 transferred to Ashton. Also at Ashton and previously unreported by us is Enviro 300 27824.
New allocations at Middleton are Enviro 200s 36480 and 36778; Optare Versa Hybrids 25315/16 and Irisbus 29829/32.
Enviro 400 19399 is now reported as allocated to Sharston as are Optare Versa Hybrids 25318/26/28 and Enviro 200 36422.
Now in the main fleet at Hyde Road are Enviro 400s 19186, 19401 and 19402.
Enviro 200 36073 has transferred from Middleton to Stockport.
We understand that some of the above allocation changes have still to take place.
We are aware that there have been changes to the Magicbus fleet in recent months so would appreciate confirmation on which vehicles now carry Magicbus livery if different from the listing on our allocation document.

Stagecoach West
There have been numerous fleet changes here which reflect the service changes of 4thAugust and 1stSeptember which saw the introduction of the new Cirencester College services (the reason for all the Reserve Fleet Tridents going back into the main fleet) and the takeover of the X5 service and Severn Express service from First. This is the reason for the transfer of Gold-spec Scania/Enviro 400s and MAN/Enviro 300s to North Bristol). The remains of 36078 have been sold for scrap. An update allocation list for this fleet can be downloaded from the link below.

Recent repaints have included Wright StreetDeck 6307 into the blue variant of the Xlines livery.
Due to a low-bridge strike, Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Myllennium Vyking 3976 has been withdrawn from service. Replaced in the fleet last week at Riverside, Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 4941 has also been withdrawn.
Following the end of the temporary shuttle bus in operation at Bournmoor, Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5238 has transferred to Percy Main Depot from Washington, where it will displace a double-deck to Riverside to replace 3976.
Vehicle disposals continue; with Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 4969 having been sold to Davies Motors, Ruthin, and Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 9074 (MF51 MBV) returned to East Yorkshire following temporary loan to Go North East.
Former East Yorkshire coach 91 which transferred to Go North East on 7th September 2019 has been allocated fleet number 7143 here, whilst East Yorkshire 92 has been allocated fleet number 7144.
