Six seconds into the season, Eagles DT Jalen Carter was ejected for spitting on Cowboys QB Dak Prescott. The 15-yard penalty set up an early Dallas touchdown, but Philadelphia recovered to win 24-20. Referee Shawn Smith called it a non-football act. The NFL will review for possible discipline as Carter addressed media postgame.
